iFOREX Europe Review 2026: CySEC Regulation and Recent Withdrawal Complaints
Abstract:iFOREX Europe operates through Cyprus-based ICFD Ltd, which is regulated by CySEC under license No. 143/11. The broker offers more than 750 CFDs through its proprietary trading platform. On WikiFX, however, its rating stands at 6.65, with 14 complaints on record, including two reports involving withdrawal requests that remained pending in July and August 2026.

The iFOREX name is used across several websites and entities within the group. The European portal, iforex.eu, is operated by ICFD Ltd in Cyprus. The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission directly links the company, its trading name, and the website in its register, while WikiFX records 14 complaints under the same broker profile. This iFOREX Europe review looks at both sides: what the license covers, how the account operates, and where withdrawal-related issues have appeared.
Who Operates iFOREX Europe?
CySEC lists ICFD Ltd under company number 254495 and license No. 143/11, with authorization dating back to May 23, 2011. The regulator‘s register includes iforex.eu and several other European domains among the company’s approved websites. The brokers client documentation also states that iFOREX Europe is the trading name of ICFD Ltd.

The iFOREX Europe license also defines the scope of the entitys activities, including receiving and transmitting client orders, executing orders, and dealing on its own account in specified categories of financial instruments. This is why the iFOREX Europe profile on WikiFX identifies the broker as regulated in Cyprus under a market-making model rather than as an unlicensed broker.
A WikiFX team visited the companys Limassol address in November 2023 and found the office at the registered location. The contact details and address shown in the field survey report match those listed by CySEC and in the European website documentation.
What Does an iFOREX Europe Account Offer?
The broker does not use MT4 or MT5. Trading is carried out through iFOREX‘s proprietary web platform and mobile app, with more than 750 CFDs available across currencies, stocks, indices, commodities, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies. Because the platform is proprietary, order management, pricing, account statements, and withdrawal services are all handled within the company’s own system.
Trading costs are generally built into the spread rather than charged as a separate commission on each trade. Spreads and leverage vary by asset. The maximum advertised leverage for European retail clients is up to 1:30, while positions are automatically closed when account equity falls to the maintenance margin level. The brokers trading conditions also cover negative balance protection, slippage, overnight financing fees, and margin close-out procedures.
A demo account is available, while the minimum amount required to open a live account is not fixed permanently in the client agreement. The agreement states that the amount is determined by the company on its website at the time of registration and may change. The broker also displays a warning that 80% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with it.
Deposits in the Account Holders Name Are Not a Minor Detail
The platform accepts bank transfers, cards, and electronic payment methods that vary by country. The client agreementrequires deposits to come from an account or payment method held in the name of the trading account holder. Funds sent by a third party may be returned to the original source.
The impact of this rule appeared in a complaint published by a user from Egypt on December 5, 2024. The holder of account No. 6592080 said he deposited $520 using another card after, according to his account, receiving approval from a company employee. The funds were then used for trading, and withdrawals and losses occurred. The account later showed a negative balance of $520.
The user then deposited another $59, which was deducted from the negative balance, leaving $461 outstanding. According to the complaint, a company representative later said that the bank had returned the original deposit.
Why Has the iFOREX Europe Rating on WikiFX Fallen?
The iFOREX Europe rating on WikiFX stood at 6.65 out of 10 on September 3, 2026. The profile records 14 complaints, and the score has been reduced because of unresolved customer complaints. The two most recent cases involve pending withdrawal requests:
- In a complaint dated August 27, 2026, a user from India said the withdrawal request had remained pending for around six days despite the required documents being approved.
- In a complaint dated July 29, 2026, another user from India said the withdrawal had still not been approved after seven days. The user also said the requested deposit receipt had been submitted, but no response was received to later messages.
- In a complaint dated December 25, 2025, a user from Hong Kong said live identity verification had failed, after which she was unable to withdraw funds or reach customer service.
These three cases are not about trading losses or price movements. They concern the stage before money is transferred back to the client: identity approval, verification of the deposit source, and execution of the withdrawal request.
iFOREX Europe Review: Conclusion
iFOREX Europe is a regulated European broker. The responsible legal entity, license number, and approved website are consistent across the CySEC register and WikiFX. The broker also offers a broad range of CFD products, capped retail leverage, and negative balance protection.
The main issue weighing on its rating is the record of account-related complaints after deposits are made. WikiFX lists 14 complaints, including two pending withdrawal cases in 2026, an identity-verification case, and the Egyptian case involving a deposit made from a third-party card.
