Abstract:Official sources support overseas regulated identities linked to the Swissquote name. FINMA's current list shows Swissquote Bank SA as a bank, while an FCA warning identifies genuine UK firm Swissquote Ltd under FRN 562170. These records do not prove RBI authorisation. Indian residents must still check the authorised person, permitted purpose, electronic trading platform, payment route and legal entity before any forex transaction.

| Bottom line: Official sources support overseas regulated identities linked to the Swissquote name. |
| Check | Verified result | What it does not prove |
| Swiss bank | Swissquote Bank SA appears on the FINMA bank list | That every user contracts with the bank. |
| UK firm | Swissquote Ltd; FCA FRN 562170 in the FCA clone warning | That every product is offered by this firm. |
| India boundary | Not identified on the RBI authorised ETP list checked 20 August 2026 | A fraud finding or legal advice for every case. |
| Official domains | swissquote.com and swissquote.co.uk appear in official sources | That a similar-looking domain is genuine. |
| WikiFX snapshot | English profile code 1254584 showed 7.57 on 20 August 2026 | A regulator finding or future score. |
| Clone risk | FCA warned about Swissquotes Ltd and SwissFutureFX | That the genuine firm caused the clone. |
This Swissquote review follows a simple order. First, identify the legal company. Next, check the regulator, India rules, login route, product risk, and clone warnings.
Search phrases such as review Swissquote and broker Swissquote can hide different questions. A useful answer must separate overseas regulation from permission in India. It must also state what was not tested.
Swissquote is a brand used across more than one legal entity. That matters. The contract should name the company, regulator, client-money rules, dispute route, and products available to the user.
FINMA's approved institutions list, dated 20 August 2026, includes Swissquote Bank SA in Gland as a bank. This supports one official Swiss entity. It does not show which entity an Indian visitor would contract with.

Swissquote regulation must be checked at entity level. The FINMA record supports Swissquote Bank SA. The FCA clone warning also names Swissquote Ltd as the genuine authorised UK firm and gives FRN 562170.
Those are meaningful overseas records. Still, they do not create RBI authorisation. For an Indian resident, the next question is whether the person, purpose, platform, and payment route meet Indian rules.
The English WikiFX profile for code 1254584 showed Swissquote, Swissquote Ltd, its listed website, and a score of 7.57 on 20 August 2026. The same page also displayed risk alerts. Both items can change over time.
The score is not a licence. It is not a promise of safety either. This article includes the image only to identify the reviewed profile and preserve the date, language, and broker code.

RBI says resident persons should make forex transactions only with authorised persons and for permitted purposes. Online trades should use an RBI-authorised electronic trading platform or a recognised exchange, subject to the stated rules.
RBI also warns against a common mistake. A name missing from the Alert List must not be treated as authorised. In addition, the forex FAQ says LRS remittances cannot fund margin or margin calls to overseas exchanges or counterparties.
| Dated India finding: Swissquote was not identified on the RBI authorised ETP list checked on 20 August 2026. This is a list check, not a claim that the Swissquote group is fraudulent. It also does not replace advice on a user's exact transaction. |

The official Swissquote Forex page describes many currency pairs and leveraged trading. Its platform page lists CFXD, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and TradingView. These features answer product questions, not India eligibility.
A search for Forex Swissquote should therefore begin with rules, not spreads. Check the legal entity, product type, permitted purpose, payment route, leverage, margin, stop-out, fees, and loss warning. Marketing numbers can change quickly.
For Swissquote login, type the official address yourself. The firm's phishing guide lists official domains and advises users not to share passwords or Level 3 codes. It also warns against giving remote access to a device.
The FCA warned about Swissquotes Ltd and SwissFutureFX. The clone used similar names and separate contact details. The warning states that the clone had no connection with the genuine authorised firm.
The same warning identifies the genuine firm as Swissquote Ltd, FRN 562170, and gives swissquote.co.uk as its website. This is a strong lesson. A real reference number can be copied into a false message or page.
Therefore, Swissquote broker checks should use several matching points. Compare the company, domain, email, phone, regulator record, and account agreement. Do not trust one correct detail on its own.

Orbex, a Cyprus-based brokerage entity, has recorded 30 exposure complaints on WikiFX, a leading forex broker regulation inquiry tool, so far. Other review websites have also recorded a healthy number of complaints against the brokerage firm. These complaints largely talk about the alleged profit confiscations by the broker in the name of trading violations, difficulty in accessing fund withdrawals, capital losses due to artificial slippage, etc. In this Orbex review, we have investigated user complaints and provided a regulatory overview of the broker.

FCA warns Swift TradeX in a notice first published and updated on 1 September 2026. The UK Financial Conduct Authority says the firm may be providing or promoting financial services without permission, is not authorised, and may be targeting people in the UK. The notice names the website swifttradexai.com, a Worcester address and a UK telephone number, but also cautions that unauthorised businesses may use incorrect or borrowed contact details. The confirmed issue is authorisation status—not a court finding about every transaction. Anyone considering a payment should stop, verify the firm independently, and avoid using contact information supplied by the platform itself.
