Phillip Capital United Arab Emirates Verified: Operational Office Confirmed
United Arab Emirates

Purpose

The UAE foreign exchange market is an emerging forex market that has developed in recent years. Leveraging its advantageous geographical location, open financial policies, and active economic activities, it has become one of the important foreign exchange trading centers in the Middle East. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the region, the on-site inspection team traveled to the UAE for a field visit.

Process

This time, the on-site inspection team went to the UAE as planned to visit the forex broker Phillip Capital. According to public information, its office address is Unit No 1202 Jumeirah Bay X3 Tower, Cluster X Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Dubai P.O, Box 212291, Dubai UAE.

The inspection personnel successfully arrived at the target building, which is located in the extravagant office area in downtown Dubai, with a bustling surrounding environment and a strong commercial atmosphere. No company signage or related information was found outside the building, but inside the building, a company nameplate was found, with its logo located inside the building.

The inspection personnel entered the building lobby, explained their purpose to the security guard, and after a simple registration, obtained permission to enter.

After arriving at the target floor, the inspection personnel found that Phillip Capital's office area had clear signage. The inspection personnel successfully entered the company's interior, which is not a shared office, and were able to photograph the reception desk and its logo.

Through the reception area, the company's internal office environment could be seen as bustling, with overall decoration being relatively exquisite. After communicating with the reception, the company's staff received the inspection personnel and invited them to look inside the office. However, due to compliance issues, photography was not allowed. Inside the office, there was a larger office with approximately 5-6 rooms and around 20-30 workstations. Meanwhile, company staff informed that there was another office in another building in Dubai, where their support personnel were located. That building is in the core area of Dubai, right next to the Burj Khalifa.

It should be noted that the on-site inspection revealed that the company is actually a cooperating merchant, and the address does not match the system. The company's latest address was learned to be 417, 4th floor, Liberty House, Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker Phillip Capital exists at the aforementioned address, but the publicly available address does not match the actual situation.

Conclusion

The site inspection team went to the UAE as planned to visit forex broker Phillip Capital in person. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not accurately locate the broker's actual office, but after further investigation, it was confirmed that the broker has a real business premises. Please consider all factors before making a decision.
