Purpose

The UAE forex market is an emerging forex market developed in recent years. With its advantageous geographical location, open financial policies, and advanced financial infrastructure, it has become one of the important forex trading centers in the Middle East. In order to help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the region, the survey team visited the UAE for on-site inspections.

Process

The field survey team visited the forex broker LMAX International in the UAE as planned. According to public information, its office address is Unit S704 - A, Level 7, Emirates Financial Towers, DIFC, PO Box 506946, Dubai, UAE.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, with a sense of mission to strictly check for investors, went to the UAE according to a meticulous plan. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker LMAX International， which claims to be located at Unit S704 - A, Level 7, Emirates Financial Towers, DIFC, PO Box 506946, Dubai, UAE.

The inspectors arrived at Emirates Financial Towers, which is located in downtown Dubai, a luxurious office building with a bustling surrounding environment and a strong business atmosphere. However, no company logo or related information of LMAX International was found outside the building.

The inspectors entered the lobby of the building and explained their purpose to the security guard. After communication, they obtained permission to enter the lobby. Inside the lobby, the inspectors carefully checked the company directory and found that the corresponding company was not LMAX International.

Since they did not have an appointment, the inspectors were unable to go to the target floor. Therefore, they could not confirm whether the company has obvious signage or security measures on the target floor, nor could they enter the interior, let alone take photos of the front desk and its logo. The office is also not a shared office.

Through the lobby area, the inspectors could not observe the internal environment of the company, and the overall situation could not be determined as consistent with its claimed positioning.

Therefore, after the inspection, it was confirmed that the broker LMAX International does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

The surveyors went to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker LMAX International. At the publicly displayed business address, they could not see the company name or other information of the broker, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider all factors before making a choice.
