Japan‘s Kanto Local Finance Bureau issued an unregistered-business warning concerning Proxtrend Ltd on 20 June 2025. The notice concerns online solicitation of over-the-counter derivatives. This Proxtrend LTD review, checked on 11 September 2026, examines that dated warning alongside the broker’s corporate disclosures and the separate rules relevant to residents of India. The warning is not a new September announcement or an Indian regulatory finding.
ContentsDoes Proxtrend LTD Regulation Establish Safety for Indian Residents?
The reviewed material does not establish authorisation for the proposed forex service in India. A foreign licence claim and a Japanese registration warning address different jurisdictions; neither substitutes for checking the Indian entity, platform and transaction requirements. The available evidence also does not justify presenting a blanket finding of fraud.
The practical decision is whether the specific service, contracting company and funding route can be verified before money is sent. A familiar brand name or a functioning website is not enough to answer those questions.
What Japan‘s Warning Establishes—and What it Does Not
The bureau names Proxtrend Ltd, identifies the service as Proxtrend, and gives P.B. 1257 Bonovo Road, Fomboni, Comoros, KM as the stated address. It describes solicitation through the internet and identifies the business as unregistered. Those are the notice’s specific findings; they should not be rewritten as an Indian ban, a criminal conviction or a finding about every customers withdrawal.
A Shared Address is a Check, Not Proof of Common Ownership
The same notice says the address is identical or similar to those of other warned businesses, including Zenith Markets PLC and DAM Group Ltd. Crucially, it says their relationship with Proxtrend is unknown. An address match therefore warrants further identity checks, but does not establish common owners or a coordinated fraud network.
What Does the Regulation Proxtrend LTD Cites Actually Cover?
The footer of proxtrendltd.com/legal says Proxtrend Ltd operates that website and owns the Proxtrend brand. It claims registration in Mwali (Moheli) and authorisation by the Mwali International Services Authority under licence BFX2024053, with the same Bonovo Road address. This article records the company‘s statement; it does not independently confirm the licence’s current status or scope.
The name and address align with the Japanese notice, but that does not authenticate every similarly branded domain or payment instruction. Ask for the actual contracting entity, the relevant official register entry and permission for the offered activity. The brokers footer also warns that leveraged CFDs can result in losing the entire account balance; A licence claim does not remove trading risk.
The Separate RBI Rules for Residents of India
RBIs forex FAQ states that residents may undertake forex transactions only with authorised persons and for permitted purposes. Permitted electronic transactions should use RBI-authorised electronic trading platforms or recognised stock exchanges, as applicable. The FAQ also states that overseas margin and margin-call remittances are not allowed under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme.
RBI further explains that its Alert List is not exhaustive, so absence from it does not establish authorisation. These are general rules, not evidence that RBI has issued a Proxtrend-specific warning. An overseas address or licence statement does not establish an Indian residents eligibility to use the service.
Conclusion: Resolve Authorisation Before Funding
The dated Japanese warning and the brokers own entity disclosures raise concrete verification questions. The shared address must remain a qualified observation, not an ownership allegation. For a resident of India, the next step is documentary and regulatory verification—not a small deposit to test whether the platform appears to work.
- Match Proxtrend Ltd, the exact website, the contract and the payment beneficiary. Request written clarification for any mismatch.
- Check the claimed licence directly with the relevant authority, including permitted activities, current status and the contracting entity.
- Use RBIs authorised-person and platform sources for the proposed forex transaction; do not treat an Alert List search as approval.
- If funds have already been sent and a dispute arises, retain payment records, account statements, withdrawal requests and correspondence before seeking qualified help.
